I accidently put an anal thermometer in my mouth! Can it hurt me?
I thought it was an oral thermometer, turns out it wasn’t! and i put it in my mouth. I immediatley brushed my teeth and gargle and spat and everything. Can it hurt me? Can it make me sick?

With an oral thermometer, is your temperature different depending on where you place it in the mouth?
When I shove it back by my back teeth, it is rather high, but when I put it on the side or under the front of the tongue, it is always a different number! Please advise, what is the accurate place to put the thermometer? Thank you.
